its been a while

Its been a while:

Its been a while since i enjoyed a good beer

Its been a while since i could always remember what day it was or how long i'd been somewhere

Its been a while since i took a shower(3 weeks to be exact...but don't worry i took one today)

Its been a while since i slept in a room with less than 10 other people in it

Its been a while since i went to bed before morning

Its been a while since i had a meal that i was truly happy after

Its been a while since i had a poop that wasn't the consistency of bread pudding

Its been a while since i had a truly intelligent conversation

...not really complaining just writing down a few things that i miss

countdown to wheels up

inaugural post...it is tuesday night and we are currently scheduled to go wheels up late thursday night/friday morning.  currently executing the mundane and tedious task of packing up the room and making final preparations to spend a year or so in the desert.
